AI use declaration
An AI use declaration is a formal statement disclosing which AI tools were used during research, for what purpose, and how outputs were verified, an explicit requirement in many current doctoral programmes, not an optional courtesy note.

You'll usually need this whenever your programme requires disclosure of AI tool use in producing or supporting your research.
