Is this tool free?

Does anything I type leave my browser?
No. The tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server or stored after you close the page.
Can I paste the result into any database?
The output uses standard Boolean operators (AND, OR, quotation marks, parentheses), which most databases accept directly. Field tags and syntax details still vary by database, so check your target database’s documentation before running the search.
Your search string is only worth what your search log proves.
A reviewer will ask which databases you searched, on what date, with which string, and how many hits each returned. The workspace keeps that log beside the review and exports it as the table your methods chapter needs.
