Author accepted manuscript
Also called aam
An author accepted manuscript is the final version of a paper accepted after peer review, but before a publisher applies its own typesetting and formatting, often the version authors are permitted to self-archive even when the final published version is paywalled.
In context
You'll usually need this when self-archiving a version of your paper even though the final published version is paywalled.
