Confirmability
Confirmability is the qualitative equivalent of objectivity, whether findings are genuinely shaped by participants and data rather than by the researcher's own bias, often demonstrated through an audit trail of decisions made during analysis.
In context
You'll usually need this when showing your conclusions trace back to the data itself rather than to your own assumptions.
