Dual role conflict
Dual role conflict is the tension a practitioner-researcher faces holding two roles at once, colleague or employee, and researcher, particularly relevant to consent, access, and whether participants feel free to decline.

You'll usually need this when the people you're studying also report to you, work alongside you, or otherwise have reason to feel obligated to participate.
