Reference list vs. bibliography
A reference list contains only sources actually cited in the text. A bibliography may also include sources consulted but not directly cited, the two terms are not interchangeable despite common informal use.

You'll usually need this when a programme specifically distinguishes between what you cited and what you more broadly consulted.
