Contradiction resolution

Contradiction resolution is the documented process of deciding how to handle two pieces of evidence that genuinely conflict, whether by favouring the stronger source, seeking a third source, or reporting the contradiction openly rather than silently picking a side.

In context

You'll usually need this when two credible sources genuinely conflict and you need a documented, defensible way to handle it.
